Rehabilitation Department

Our Rehabilitation Department consists of physical, occupational, and speech therapy programs. Our devoted, caring staff of licensed therapists is dedicated to providing you with customized treatment programs, quality and consistent care, and a peaceful place to heal. 

We provide care for inpatient, outpatient, and swing bed programs, permitting us to maintain an excellent level of continuity of care. 

Our highly trained staff is expertly skilled and specializes in different areas of therapeutic study to provide a vast array of specialized programs designed to relieve pain, restore mobility, increase strength, and improve your quality of life. Our therapists strive to serve and meet the individual needs of our patients to help them return to an active and healthy lifestyle. All of our therapeutic services require a physician's order. 

The Rehabilitation Department provides a wide array of services including:

  • Rehabilitation for orthopedic and sports injuries
  • Joint replacement rehabilitation
  • Spine physical therapy
  • Hand therapy
  • Occupational therapy
  • Speech therapy
  • Rehabilitation for diagnoses such as stroke, cancer, and general surgical conditions
  • Occupational injuries
  • Pediatric rehabilitation

Physical Therapy 

Our highly trained Physical Therapy staff uses a variety of modalities and equipment to restore function, improve mobility, and promote a patient’s return to the highest level of activity possible. We develop individualized treatment plans to assess strength and flexibility, pain relief, post-surgical recovery, functional mobility, balance, and endurance. 

Modalities such as heat/cold, electrical stimulation, ultrasound, traction, and manual techniques, in combination with a multitude of helpful exercises, are used to increase the level of fitness and rehabilitation in our patients.

  • Injuries to the neck shoulder, back, hip, knee, ankle, or foot

Occupational Therapy

Our highly trained Occupational Therapy staff assists individuals in developing and relearning the necessary skills needed to perform everyday activities. These skills may include physical, cognitive, and visual-perceptual abilities to perform self-care and home management. More advanced skills to function effectively in work, school, and the community are also offered. 

We create individualized treatment programs to assist individuals with injuries, physical challenges, or developmental disabilities, so patients can leave our care better equipped to live daily lives more capably and comfortably.

Typical conditions treated through occupational therapy may include:

  • Hand, wrist, and other upper extremity injuries
  • Adaptive equipment needs
  • Activity of daily living needs
  • Strokes & other neurological conditions

The Occupational Therapy staff provides skilled services for inpatient, outpatient, home care, pediatrics and industrial rehabilitation programs.

Speech Therapy

Our Speech Therapy program focuses on human communication and swallowing disorders. Our Speech-Language Pathologist assists our patients by designing a personalized treatment program to assist them in relearning speech, communication, swallowing, problem-solving, and memory retention skills. These conditions can be developmental or just occur after an illness, injury, or surgery. 

Typical conditions treated through speech therapy may include:

  • Speech disorders
  • Voice disorders
  • Articulation problems
  • Cognitive impairment
  • Stroke & other neurological conditions
