ACRMC Welcomes Michael Hanson, FNP

The Adams County Regional Medical Center (ACRMC) is pleased to announce that Michael Hanson, FNP, has joined the medical staff to provide specialized wound care services. Hanson brings extensive experience in skilled long-term care, assisted living, and advanced wound management and is now accepting new patients. His addition to the ACRMC team strengthens the hospital’s commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered wound care for the community.

Hanson earned his Master of Science in Nursing from Northern Kentucky University and has worked extensively with patients suffering from complex wounds. His expertise includes the treatment of diabetic ulcers, pressure sores, surgical wounds, venous leg ulcers, and wounds caused by poor circulation. These types of wounds can significantly impact a patient’s quality of life, leading to severe infections, chronic pain, mobility loss, and, in some cases, amputation. With timely and specialized treatment, many of these complications can be prevented, promoting faster healing and overall well-being.

Proper wound care is essential to reducing hospitalizations and improving patient outcomes. The ACRMC Wound Care Clinic offers a comprehensive range of services, including advanced wound dressings, infection control and prevention, debridement (removal of dead tissue), compression therapy for venous ulcers, and diabetic wound and ulcer management. Patients also receive education on proper wound care techniques to support healing and prevent further complications.

“Chronic wounds can significantly affect a person’s health and independence,” said Michael Hanson, FNP. “My goal is to provide expert, compassionate care that not only promotes healing but also helps patients avoid serious complications and improve their overall quality of life.”

With a focus on early intervention and advanced treatment techniques, ACRMC’s Wound Care Clinic plays a critical role in supporting patients with non-healing wounds. By offering specialized therapies and individualized treatment plans, the clinic helps reduce the risk of infection and long-term disability while enhancing patient recovery and mobility.

ACRMC is conveniently located at 230 Medical Center Drive, Seaman, Ohio 45679. To schedule an appointment with Michael Hanson, FNP, or to learn more about the Wound Care Clinic, please call 937-386-3461 or visit acrmc.com/wound-care.
