The Adams County Regional Medical Center Sports Medicine Program offers specialized care in the prevention, recognition/evaluation, treatment and rehabilitation of injuries to the physically active. Regardless of age or skill level, recreational or competitive, our Licensed Athletic Trainers take injuries seriously. The purpose of the Sports Medicine Program is to provide the community a means to professional and aggressive treatment of injuries.

The program includes:

High School Athlete Outreach Program

    • Rapid acute injury assessment and management by licensed Athletic Trainers
    • On-site school visits and game coverage
    • Access to X-ray and MRI services
    • Orthopedic referral services
    • Sport-specific rehabilitation, strengthening and conditioning
    • Determining fitness for return to play after injury or illness
    • Pre-participation Sports Physicals for school athletic departments conducted on-site
    • Preventive and post-injury taping and bracing
    • Student Activity Validation programs for coaches
    • AHA Heartsaver AED training for coaches and school staff
