Each Observation Unit room is private, each with a bathroom and shower.

The Observation Unit provides patient monitoring and diagnostic tests to
determine further treatment.
The Observation Unit is considered an outpatient unit by Medicare and most
other insurance providers. Medicare does not cover the cost of oral (by mouth)
medications given in this outpatient setting. If you bring your medications
from home, we are able to dispense your medications to you, which will reduce
the total cost of your observation visit.
