We are dedicated to providing individualized treatment programs that help our patients gain greater independence and improve overall function of daily activities.  Programs may be designed to relieve pain, restore mobility, increase strength or improve function.  Our licensed professionals are equipped with the latest treatment modalities and equipment to promote the highest level of rehabilitation and fitness possible.

The Rehabilitation Department provides a wide array of services including:

Physical Therapy















The Physical Therapy staff at Adams County Regional Medical Center use a variety of modalities and equipment to restore function, improve mobility, and promote a return to the highest level of activity possible.  Therapists develop individualized treatment plans to address strength and flexibility, pain relief, post-surgical recovery, functional mobility, balance and endurance.  Modalities such as heat/cold, electrical stimulation, ultrasound, traction, and manual techniques, in combination with a variety of exercises are used to promote the highest level of fitness and rehabilitation possible.  







The Physical Therapy staff provides service for individuals with many different medical or physical conditions.  We offer a variety of physical therapy programs to serve and meet an individual’s rehabilitation needs.

Occupational Therapy











The Occupational Therapy staff at Adams County Regional Medical Center assists individuals to develop or relearn the necessary skills needed to perform everyday activities of daily living for use in the home and community.  These skills may include physical, cognitive, and visual-perceptual abilities to perform self-care and home management as well as more advanced skills to function effectively in work, school, and the community.  Therapists develop individualized treatment programs to assist individuals with injuries, physical challenges, or developmental disabilities to live their lives to the fullest.  







The Occupational Therapy staff provides therapy programs for individuals with many different medical or physical conditions.  Every program is designed to meet each individual’s rehabilitation needs.

Speech Therapy











The Speech Language Pathology at Adams County Regional Medical Center is a skilled profession focusing on disorders of human communication and swallowing.  The Speech-Language Pathologist will assist individuals by developing a personalized treatment program to assist them in relearning speech, communication, swallowing, problem solving and memory skills.  These conditions can be developmental or occur after an illness, injury, or surgery.  











The Speech Therapy staff provides services for individuals with many different medical or physical conditions.  We offer a variety of speech therapy programs to serve and meet an individual’s rehabilitation needs.
